Mallorca's most beautiful bays

The beautiful north of Mallorca

Here in the north you are far away from the so-called Ballermann tourism. There are many great excursion options for families, couples or singles.

Here you have the choice of whether you want to enjoy your peace and quiet or enjoy time on the beach with your family or perhaps explore one of the magnificent weekly markets with your partner.

The north of Mallorca is known for its beautiful bays with turquoise water and beautiful beaches. Here we would like to introduce you to some bays that we also visit within our yacht tours.

We are sure that you cannot decide which bay is the most beautiful!

Cala Figuera

Cala Figuera is located at the northernmost point of the island, namely on the Formentor peninsula. The bay is a real insider tip because it is very difficult to reach on foot. From a parking lot you have to walk 1.4 km to get to the amazing bay with the turquoise water. And this is where we come in, because on our yacht excursion to Cala Figuera you don't have to walk a mile to be able to jump into the beautiful water!

The bay of Cala Figuera is located between two large rocks, the water here is wonderfully calm and invites you to swim. Incidentally, Cala Figuera means fig bay. The name comes from the many fig trees that adorn the coast of the fishing village.

One of the loveliest fishing villages in Mallorca with bright white houses and green shutters. Always an eye-catcher and has often served as a backdrop for films.

Formentor beach

Playa de Formentor is a little further south than Cala Figuera but also on the Formentor peninsula. Here you will find crystal clear water, which slopes gently. However, the kilometer-long beach is no longer an insider tip and so it can get a bit crowded here in the high season.

No problem for us, because we are in an undisturbed atmosphere on our yacht, can cool off in the clear water or sunbathe on the bow of the yacht!

The beach is considered one of the 20 most beautiful beaches in Mallorca and is embedded in the beautiful pine forest and surrounded by the Tramuntana mountains and is a real feast for the eyes. On clear days you can even see as far as Menorca.

Coll de Baix

We go a little further south and arrive at the bay of Coll de Baix. A fine pebble beach, which is also very difficult to reach on foot. The reward for the 45-minute walk is a beautiful bay with crystal clear water. We save ourselves the walk and drive to the bay in a relaxed manner with the yacht. Again, there is the opportunity to swim or snorkel. The water here is wonderfully calm, so why not try the Stand Up Paddle.

The beach of Coll de Baix stretches 200 meters between rocks and the magnificent green pine forest. Since the beach is very difficult to reach, it is often very quiet here and you can enjoy your privacy.

wall beach

Word has gotten around that Playa de Muro is one of the most beautiful beaches on the whole island, so it can get crowded here during the season. The fine white sandy beach slopes gently into the turquoise blue sea, which of course many tourists do not want to miss. We can watch the hustle and bustle from a distance and sit back and relax in a relaxed atmosphere.

Playa de Muro is over 6 km long and borders directly on Alcudia. Numerous bars and restaurants invite you to linger along the promenade. We have a different kind of catering on the yacht. If you wish, we can serve you delicious appetizers and tapas with an ice-cold glass of champagne....

Son Sera de Marina

Probably the quietest spot in the north of the island. This is also appreciated by locals who like to visit the beautiful beach. A long fine sandy beach and turquoise blue water await us. A perfect place to relax and unwind. The place around the bay has no hotels and you have to search a long time for gastronomy. Tourism has not yet arrived here.

Maybe just the right thing for your relaxed tour with the yacht?
